Job Description
As a Lead Data Scientist at Faculty, you will spearhead technical direction for high-stakes life sciences projects. You’ll architect production-grade machine learning solutions that optimize the research and commercialization of life-changing therapies. What You Will Do
- Set the technical direction and architect reliable, production-grade machine learning solutions for complex, business-critical projects in the life sciences space.
- Lead end-to-end project delivery by defining roadmaps, managing technical risks, and translating ill-defined problems into actionable, multi-disciplinary workstreams.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor for senior stakeholders at major pharma firms, aligning innovative AI solutions with long-term commercial and healthcare goals.
The ideal candidate
- Possesses deep expertise in at least one machine learning domain and broad technical knowledge across the entire data science and engineering landscape.
- Demonstrates proven experience in technical leadership, including mentoring data scientists, managing cross-functional teams, and establishing robust development best practices.
- Combines a strong scientific background in areas like Physics or Computational Biology with the project management chops to deliver innovative outcomes under commercial pressure.
