Lead Designer

Position: Professional Design Expert

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $80–$180/hour

Location: Remote

About the Opportunity

This opportunity is for experienced Design Professionals and Visual Communication Specialists to contribute to an advanced AI research project with one of the world's leading AI companies. You'll apply your professional design judgment to evaluate visual presentation, product design, aesthetics, and creative quality, helping AI systems better understand professional standards and design preferences.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate visual designs, documents, graphics, and professional presentations for quality and effectiveness.
  • Apply professional judgment to assess visual presentation, layout, aesthetics, and design consistency.
  • Create and review professional graphics, documents, slides, and other visual materials.
  • Provide structured feedback based on design quality and user preferences.
  • Work with common professional file formats, including Slides, Sheets, Docs, and PDFs.

Required Qualifications

  • Native or near-native proficiency in English.
  • Professional experience in roles requiring strong visual presentation and design judgment.
  • Experience designing graphics, documents, presentations, or other professional materials.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency with Slides, Sheets, Docs, and PDFs.
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week.
  • Must be based in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada.

  • Professional background in graphic design, product design, UX/UI, visual communication, or creative services.
  • Strong understanding of visual aesthetics, composition, typography, and presentation quality.
  • Experience evaluating or reviewing professional design work.
  • Familiarity with AI, design evaluation, or AI model evaluation is a plus.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation of $80–$180/hour.
  • Hourly contract engagement.
  • Fully remote opportunity.
  • Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
