Lead Developer
Company
Reduce Admin builds bespoke AI and automation systems for healthcare organisations.
We work with Primary Care, Continuing Healthcare, ICBs and Local Authorities to reduce repetitive administrative work, improve processes and increase team capacity.
Our work includes automating tasks such as booking reviews, quality assurance, document processing, workflow management and other repetitive operational processes.
We have already delivered work for organisations including MHS and Unilever.
We are still early stage, so this role will suit someone who wants to work closely with the founder, take ownership of delivery and help shape how the company builds and delivers software as it grows.
The Role
We are looking for a UK-based Lead Developer to design, build and deploy systems for our clients.
You will work directly with the founder and clients to understand existing workflows, identify what can be automated and turn those requirements into reliable production systems.
You will have a lot of ownership over how solutions are designed and built.

Typical work will include:
- Building bespoke web applications and internal tools
- Automating manual workflows and SOPs
- Integrating APIs and third-party systems
- Building AI-assisted workflows and applications
- Working with Microsoft and Google ecosystems
- Deploying and maintaining production systems
- Making architectural and technical decisions
- Testing and reviewing systems before deployment
- Improving security, reliability and maintainability
- Helping establish our development standards as the company grows
This is a fast-paced environment. We care about building useful things quickly, but they also need to work properly.
The systems you build may reduce clinical admin, remove bottlenecks, catch errors or help healthcare teams get patients the support they need faster.
Technical Experience
You should be comfortable with most of the following:
- Python
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Claude Code and/or Codex
- Azure
- Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio
- GitHub
- Railway and/or Vercel
- REST APIs and integrations
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Google Workspace ecosystem
- Databases and backend development
- Building and deploying production web applications

You should also have a good eye for simple, usable UI.
You do not need to be a specialist designer, but you should be capable of producing clean interfaces yourself or using modern tools effectively to get there.

Healthcare experience is useful but not essential.
Experience working with UK GDPR, NHS DSPT, ISO 27001 or similar security and compliance frameworks would also be useful.
