DevOps Lead
We are working with a growing, technology-driven organisation that is investing heavily in its engineering capabilities. With a strong focus on modernisation and continuous improvement, they are looking to appoint a DevOps Lead to play a key role in shaping and scaling their platform and delivery practices.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a talented team while driving innovation across cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps culture.
Joining in a newly created function within the business you will work directly with a collaborative engineering and data team to implement automated processes and build pipelines. You will be immersed in an autonomous working environment that encourages creativity while delivering to over 300 clients worldwide.

About You
As DevOps Lead, you will take ownership of the DevOps function, leading a small team and enabling the rapid, secure, and reliable delivery of technology services. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, QA, and product teams to align platform capabilities with wider business goals, while introducing and embedding best-in-class DevOps practices.
You’ll bring a strong mix of technical expertise, leadership capability, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a passion for improving engineering outcomes.
Key experience includes:
- Proven experience leading or building DevOps / SRE teams
- Strong background in cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Deep expertise in CI/CD and automation tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitLab)
- Experience with containerisation and PaaS platforms
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform)
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python or similar)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
