Lead DevSecOps Engineer

If you enjoy building platforms that make engineers faster, more secure and more productive, this is an opportunity to have real influence.

The role

You'll treat the internal platform as a product, creating a secure, self-service developer experience that removes friction and enables engineering teams to deliver at pace.

You'll own the journey from local development to production, embedding security, automation and observability into every stage of the software delivery lifecycle.

You'll be:

  • Owning and evolving the internal developer platform and CI/CD pipelines
  • Building secure, repeatable deployment patterns
  • Driving Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices
  • Managing and improving GitLab and core engineering tooling
  • Embedding automated security and compliance throughout the development lifecycle
  • Setting the technical direction for DevSecOps as the company scales

What you'll bring

  • Experience building internal developer platforms or advanced CI/CD environments
  • Strong cloud and Kubernetes expertise
  • Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, OpenTofu or Pulumi
  • Python, Go or Bash scripting skills
  • A passion for developer experience, automation and secure software delivery

You'll need the right to work in the UK and be eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance. The role is primarily office-based to support close collaboration across the engineering team.
