DevSecOps Engineer - Senior Manager
Location: Bristol – three days per week on site, two days from home
Salary: £110,000 - £130,000 plus 8-10% bonus
I’m supporting a global IT consultancy who are recruiting a DevSecOps Engineer to work with a UK Defence client.
This is a Senior Manager-level technical leadership position to lead an existing team and improve how security is embedded throughout software delivery. You won’t be coding day to day, but you’ll oversee and review the team’s code and step in technically when required.

Responsibilities
- Designing and improving DevSecOps practices
- Designing and implementing secure CI/CD pipelines
- Establishing security controls across the development lifecycle
- Leading and mentoring DevOps and engineering teams
- Reviewing code, automation and IaC
- Improving platform reliability, observability and release processes
- Supporting governance, vulnerability management and compliance
