As a Lead Diagnostic Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in defining and leading diagnostics across JLR’s next-generation infotainment platforms. Working with pioneering brands and products, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of diagnostics, helping to deliver robust, connected and high-performing vehicle experiences. This is an opportunity to channel your curiosity, collaborate with experts across multiple disciplines, and continuously grow your technical influence while shaping solutions that support engineering, manufacturing and aftersales teams globally.
What To Expect
- Leading the end-to-end diagnostics strategy and architecture for infotainment systems and vehicle platforms
- Defining diagnostics requirements, use cases and validation approaches aligned to industry standards and business needs
- Diagnosing and resolving complex integration issues using diagnostic tools, network analysis and communication protocols including CAN and DoIP
- Collaborating with engineering teams, suppliers and technology partners to ensure successful diagnostics implementation
- Driving continuous improvement by supporting manufacturing, service and aftersales diagnostics capabilities throughout the vehicle lifecycle

What You’ll Need
- Demonstrating experience in automotive, aerospace or a similar complex engineering environment with a focus on diagnostics and systems integration
- Working with vehicle communication protocols and diagnostics technologies including CAN and DoIP
- Using diagnostic and problem-solving methodologies such as Six Sigma, 8D, CANoe, Wireshark or similar tools
- Translating technical requirements into robust diagnostics solutions while influencing stakeholders across multiple teams
- Holding a relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience, with knowledge of connected vehicle technologies being advantageous
