At The Natural Dispensary
We are dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our customers through natural health products. Servicing qualified healthcare professionals and their clients throughout the UK, Europe, and the rest of the world for over 18 years. We believe in the power of nature and are committed to creating a positive impact on our community and the environment.
We are proudly a family-founded company, employing over 100 people within our local community. Currently, we are undergoing our BCorp application and are dedicated to continuing to improve our company culture, practice, and reduce our impact.
We’re now entering an exciting phase of evolution: enhancing systems, strengthening relationships, and growing sustainably. Growth for us means more than revenue; it’s about empowering our people, elevating our service, and deepening our practitioner community.
About the Role
This role is a broad role that will own the visual output across our digital channels and printed materials, setting the standard for how our brand shows up, and art-direct external partners who support us. It will work closely with our marketing, brand, and commercial teams and have responsibility for leading the design craft across the business and managing the external designer or agency who produces our quarterly magazine. The business is in the middle of a significant digital transformation, rebuilding our ecommerce platform, sharpening our brand, and rethinking how we show up for the practitioners we serve. This role sits right at the center of that.
Key Responsibilities
Digital design
- Lead the visual design of our new ecommerce platform - UI, page templates, product and category experiences, and the design system that keeps it consistent as it grows
- Design the website day to day: landing pages, campaign creative, merchandising, and seasonal trading moments
- Design our email programme - modular, reusable templates plus campaign creative that holds up across clients and devices
- Create social and digital advertising assets at the pace those channels need
- Design mobile-first and responsive, with accessibility built in rather than retrofitted
- Work with the Digital & Growth Lead on conversion-focused design, producing variants for A/B tests and iterating on what the results show
- Improve the user experience across our digital touchpoints, balancing how things look with how well they work
- Combine copy, imagery, and video into designs that flow and feel considered
- Set and evolve TND's digital design standards so the brand scales across every screen

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
