Lead Digital Product Manager
At Allstate, great things happen when our people work together to protect families and their belongings from life’s uncertainties. And for more than 90 years, our innovative drive has kept us a step ahead of our customers’ evolving needs. From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.
Your Role in the Team
The Lead Digital Product Manager will define, deliver, and manage the lifecycle of multiple products within Allstate’s growing digital product portfolio. You will shape and execute the product vision, lead product discovery and road mapping, and make strategic decisions that maximize customer, agent, employee, and business value. You will serve as the single accountable product voice for your assigned Digital Product Family, leading and developing a team of Digital Product Managers while partnering closely with Engineering, Data, UX, and Business leaders to deliver measurable customer, operational, and financial outcomes.
As the Lead Digital Product Manager for Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) within the Identity and Access Management (IAM) program, you will lead the strategy and execution of enterprise customer identity and access capabilities. This includes shaping secure, scalable solutions for customer onboarding, registration, profile and account management, authorization, and web access experiences. You will collaborate across cybersecurity, IT, UX, engineering, and business teams to deliver platforms that enable trusted customer interactions while reducing friction and improving operational efficiency.
The CIAM team plays a pivotal role in advancing customer identity and access management initiatives across the organization. In partnership with engineering and product leadership, you will define strategic direction, manage roadmaps and performance outcomes, and drive adoption of integrated identity and access solutions that support the enterprise's broader security, digital experience, and transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and communicate the vision, strategy, and measurable outcomes for the Customer Identity and Access Management product family.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized multi-year roadmap aligned with enterprise security, digital experience, and transformation goals.
- Lead product discovery using customer insight, operational data, market trends, and stakeholder feedback to validate needs and opportunities.
- Define solutions for customer onboarding, registration, authentication, authorization, profile management, account recovery, and web access.
- Translate strategic objectives into clear product priorities, outcome-based requirements, and delivery plans for cross-functional teams.
- Partner with Cybersecurity, Engineering, Architecture, Data, UX, and Business teams to deliver secure, scalable, and accessible identity experiences.
- Balance customer experience, security, privacy, regulatory, technical, and commercial considerations when making product decisions.
- Define and monitor KPIs covering adoption, authentication success, customer effort, security risk, reliability, operational efficiency, and financial value.
- Use performance data and feedback to prioritise improvements, manage product health, and maximise value throughout the product lifecycle.
- Manage dependencies, risks, investment decisions, and trade-offs across multiple products, platforms, and delivery teams.
- Influence senior stakeholders, secure alignment on priorities, and provide clear updates on roadmap progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes.
- Lead, coach, and develop Digital Product Managers, setting clear expectations and strengthening consistent product management practices.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
