Westminster - Chelsea
£52,400 + Package
Shift pattern - Days - 4 on, 4 off
Brief
Lead Electrical Engineer needed for a large well known Facilities Management organisation based in Westminster, London who are looking to employ an experienced and well-rounded Lead Electrical Engineer that takes pride in their work and has a strong understanding of electrical fault finding, diagnosis, repairs and reactive maintenance.
The successful candidate would have a relevant qualification - i.e. NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations, 18th Edition etc. - and have a keen interest in Electrical Engineering. If you have commercial experience in Facilities Management that would be a plus!

What the role entails:
- Complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance across single phase and three phase electrical systems
- Act as the main Electrical Authorised Person on site following the required training and assessment
- Diagnose faults, source parts and complete electrical repairs, inspections and testing
- Support electrical shutdown planning, project works, specialist contractors and the wider engineering team
What experience you need to be the successful Lead Electrical Engineer:
- Experienced in planned preventative and reactive maintenance of electrical infrastructure within a building services environment
- Qualified to the 18th Edition and experienced in inspection and testing
- Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent level, including Level 3 electrical installation engineering
- Qualified in installing and commissioning electrotechnical systems, with AM1 and AM2 achievement (Desirable)
- Able to complete electrical repairs, Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing in accordance with the current edition of BS7671
- Able to work independently, use initiative and apply practical problem solving
- Comfortable working with clients, colleagues and specialist subcontractors
- Able to demonstrate sound judgement and a commitment to high standards of safety and workmanship
- Currently holding CTC clearance or able to obtain CTC clearance

This role requires CTC clearance due to the government environment. Candidates must either hold current CTC clearance or be able to successfully obtain it as part of the recruitment process.
