The Role
We're looking for an experienced Lead Electrician/Electrical Supervisor to lead and deliver electrical installations across retail displays, experiential projects, exhibitions, pop-ups, and bespoke fabrication projects.
This is a hands-on position combining electrical expertise with team leadership. You'll oversee a small team of electricians and technicians, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. Working closely with Project Managers, Designers, and Production teams, you'll be involved from build through to installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of electricians and installers.
- Build, wire, test, and commission electrical systems and display installations.
- Install and maintain both 240V and low-voltage systems, including LED lighting and control systems.
- Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, PAT testing, and inspections.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
- Prepare RAMS, testing records, and installation documentation.
- Support workshop production and attend site installations across the UK when required.
- Assist with planning, resource allocation, and project delivery.

Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Qualified Electrician (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience with 240V and low-voltage electrical systems.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
- Background in retail fit-out, shopfitting, exhibitions, events, experiential projects, or display production.
- Confident reading technical drawings and schematics.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
- ECS Gold Card.
- IPAF and/or PASMA.
- Experience with DMX lighting, LED systems, and interactive technologies.
