Join an innovative electric drive technology company – Norfolk, Hybrid Working Model
This innovative engineering company is developing advanced electric drive systems for high-performance applications, and they’re now looking for a Lead Software Engineer to take technical ownership across their embedded software function.
You’ll lead a team working on motor control, inverter control, DC-DC, charging, and diagnostics. This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining embedded software, software architecture, and team leadership.

For this Lead Software Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:
- Strong Embedded C/C++ experience
- Experience with motor control, inverter control, or electric drive systems
- Strong software architecture and embedded systems experience
- Previous technical leadership / mentoring experience
- Experience with HIL, integration, and system-level testing
- Knowledge of ASPICE, ISO 26262, and MISRA C
- Experience with model-based development would be beneficial
