Lead Engineer – Enterprise Authentication & Security

London (3 days onsite)
6 Month Contract - Outside IR35

I'm working with a rapidly growing AI platform looking for a Lead Engineer to join their Enterprise Readiness team, building the authentication and security capabilities required to support large enterprise organisations and complex customer environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role, not a management position.

You'll be working on

  • Building enterprise-grade authentication and authorisation capabilities
  • Designing and implementing secure SSO integrations
  • Developing backend services that support enterprise identity and access management
  • Solving authentication challenges for customers managing thousands of users and applications
  • Working closely with product, platform and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable enterprise features

We're looking for engineers with experience in

  • OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC) and SAML
  • Enterprise SSO and Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Secure backend development using Go, Python, Java or TypeScript
  • AWS, Azure or GCP
  • Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Enterprise SaaS, Financial Services or other large-scale distributed environments
