A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

Golf Clash has been entertaining millions of players for over 9 years and our goal is to continue providing exciting new features and content to our fans for many more years to come. If you want to create games for millions of players to enjoy on the go, then this is the job you’ve been looking for! We are committed to constantly improving our working practices and collective knowledge through training and supporting each other.

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Engineer to drive our technical evolution forward. Collaborating with the Technical Director, you will execute a studio-wide engineering productivity strategy by delivering advanced tooling, automation, and optimized workflows. Your mission is to empower our engineers, artists, and designers to accelerate delivery, enhance product quality, and future-proof our studio operations.

This is a broad, hands-on technical role spanning engineering tools, AI-enabled workflows, content creation pipelines, build and release systems, engine development, observability, and studio-wide developer productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Technical Director to execute the studio's engineering productivity and workflow transformation strategy by driving the evolution of studio tooling, automation, and content pipelines to accelerate content creation and iteration.
  • Improve creative feedback loops and authoring workflows to help reduce the time from idea to player value.
  • Leverage AI and automation to streamline engineering, content creation, and operational workflows, applying emerging technologies where they deliver measurable improvements in productivity and quality.
  • Develop and evolve build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering workflows that improve reliability, quality, and release velocity.
  • Build and maintain highly visible dashboards and operational tooling that communicate the health of the product and the production pipeline.
  • Develop profiling, diagnostics, and optimization tooling that helps teams understand performance, memory, and technical budgets across the game.
  • Work closely with client, engine, server, DevOps, QA, design, art, and production teams to deliver improvements that benefit the entire studio.
  • Build strong technical partnerships with EA central technology teams and partner studios, adopting common capabilities where appropriate while contributing improvements back into the wider EA ecosystem.
  • Promote engineering excellence through maintainable architecture, automation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize engineering initiatives by evaluating technical work against measurable ROIs, ensuring efforts directly contribute to business outcomes and product goals.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
