Role Overview

The Senior / Lead Enterprise Technical Architect is a hands-on technology leadership role responsible for the end-to-end technical architecture, solutioning, and engineering alignment of a large-scale Wealth Management platform.

You will work across applications, UI services, APIs, integrations, data, databases, AI/ML, AWS Cloud, infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps, security, performance, scalability, and cost optimization. You are expected to be hands-on, technically deep, and closely engaged with engineering teams to ensure solutions are secure, performant, cost-effective, and production-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Enterprise Architecture: Define and govern architecture covering UI, microservices, APIs, integrations, databases, cloud, and operational platforms.
  • Technical Solutioning: Convert complex functional requirements into practical technical designs, evaluating architectural trade-offs and tech stacks.
  • AWS & Infrastructure Architecture: Design and optimize AWS cloud environments (EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM) focusing on resilience, scalability, and cost control.
  • Integration Leadership: Implement REST, event-driven (Kafka), WebSockets, and Salesforce integration patterns.
  • Containers & DevOps: Drive containerized architecture (Docker/Kubernetes) and embed complete CI/CD / DevSecOps lifecycles.
  • Data & AI Architecture: Provide technical direction across RDBMS, NoSQL, Data Lakes, and AI/ML capabilities (LLM integration, RAG, vector databases).
  • Performance & Security: Lead latency profiling, database tuning, DevSecOps, secrets management, and infrastructure sizing.
  • Hands-On Leadership & Troubleshooting: Review designs, API contracts, database schemas, and Kubernetes manifests while leading complex root-cause analysis for production issues.

Core Technical Expertise Required

  • Application & UI: Microservices, modern UI services, API/BFF patterns, Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Databases & Data: PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, Spark/Databricks, ETL/ELT, CDC.
  • Integration: REST APIs, API Gateways, Kafka, Kinesis, Event-Driven Architecture.
  • AWS Cloud: EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, Redshift, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS.
  • Containers & DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, DevSecOps.
  • Security: IAM, OAuth/JWT, encryption, secrets management, vulnerability remediation.
  • AI/ML: Machine Learning, GenAI, LLM integration, RAG, vector databases.

  • Proven track record in architecting large-scale financial platforms within Wealth Management or Banking.
  • Strong ability to evaluate trade-offs between performance, scalability, security, complexity, and cost.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to bridge business requirements and engineering execution.
