Lead Forward Deployed Engineer | London, Hybrid | Up to £120,000 + Benefits
I'm partnering with a high-growth technology company transforming complex, data-intensive workflows within a highly regulated industry.
They're hiring a Lead Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the delivery of bespoke client solutions, working at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer engagement. This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise, leadership, and client-facing problem solving within a fast-scaling business.
What you'll do
- Lead the discovery and analysis of client requirements, translating complex business challenges into scalable technical solutions
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, supporting their growth while driving delivery excellence
- Own the design, configuration, and implementation of client-facing solutions across multiple business domains
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders, shaping solutions that align with strategic objectives
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure successful client outcomes

What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with experience working across complex technical environments
- Previous leadership experience managing or mentoring engineering teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience gathering requirements and delivering customer-facing technical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a consultative approach
