Senior FPGA / Video Signal Processing Engineer – Outside IR35
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced FPGA / Video Signal Processing Engineer to join a high-profile engineering programme on an Outside IR35 contract. This is supporting a next-gen Aerospace development.
This is a 12-month engagement with an immediate start, offering a competitive day rate and the chance to work on cutting-edge video and signal processing technology.
Key Details:
- Location: Southampton (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)
- Contract: 12 Months
- IR35: Outside IR35
- Start: ASAP
- Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance preferred (if you have previously held an SC Clearance you can also be considered)

Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in Video Signal Processing
- FPGA development using Xilinx devices
- Extensive experience with Vivado
- MATLAB for algorithm development and verification
- Simulation and verification using ModelSim and QuestaSim
- Experience working within secure or defence-related environments is highly desirable
