We’re helping a very influential founder in the UK startup ecosystem hire a hands-on Lead Full-Stack Engineer to take increasing ownership of a live AI-powered professional networking intelligence platform.
The founder is a highly connected figure in the UK startup scene, with an established network across founders, investors, communities and events.
The product is already live, with an existing codebase and a junior developer working full-time on the platform.
This is not a greenfield build or maintenance role. You’ll inherit the existing product, work closely with and mentor the junior developer, and progressively take ownership of the company’s technical direction.
For the right person, there is a genuine path to becoming CTO.
The Product
The company is building an AI-powered professional networking intelligence layer, helping users better understand and activate the relationships within their network.

The Stack
- React Native

You’ll:
- Take technical ownership of an existing live product and codebase
- Work directly with the founder to turn product priorities into shipped software
- Support and mentor an existing junior developer
- Build across mobile, backend, APIs, agentic AI and integrations
- Gradually take ownership of technical strategy
You are:
- A strong full-stack or mobile engineer who remains highly hands-on
- Experienced with React Native and modern JavaScript/TypeScript development
- Experienced in shipping real products
- Comfortable inheriting and improving an existing codebase
- Able to mentor a junior engineer
- Product-minded and able to communicate clearly with a non-technical founder
- Based in London, or able to work closely with the founder in London
