Lead Full Stack Engineer / 12-Month Contract / Outside IR35 | Fully Remote (UK)

Day Rate: £800 per day DOE
Contract Length: 12 months
Location: Fully remote, UK based
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Start: ASAP

We're partnering with a well-funded, fast-scaling business that's about to kick off a greenfield build. They need a Lead Full Stack Engineer who can help shape the technical direction from day one, not just execute someone else's roadmap.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the technical design and build of a new platform from first principles — no legacy constraints, no inherited spaghetti
  • Making key decisions on architecture, tooling, and engineering standards that the wider team will follow as they scale
  • Building across the full stack — modern frontend framework, robust API layer, cloud-native infrastructure
  • Mentoring and setting the technical bar for engineers joining the team as the build progresses
  • Working directly with senior stakeholders — this is a role with real influence, not just delivery

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
