Peace.com is creating a new frontier of play: real-world story worlds that children can step into, inhabit and make their own. The ambition is to combine the depth and replayability of great games with immersive experiences that move beyond conventional screens, creating worlds that feel alive, coherent and endlessly explorable. As an early member of the team, the Lead Game Designer will have a major role in defining how those worlds work.
We’re looking for an outstanding Lead Game Designer with deep experience creating open-world games and a strong instinct for systems-driven, emergent play. You should think in loops, mechanics, rules and player behaviour rather than simply linear narrative, and understand what makes players want to return to a world again and again. You’ll work closely with engineering and creative teams to shape the environments, stories and underlying systems that make Peace.com experiences genuinely playable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
