Lead Generation Coordinator

About Sponge

Strategy means nothing until people start doing things differently. Sponge makes that happen. We are a specialist learning and enablement partner for global brands. We combine global enterprise fluency with a small-agency soul, taking clients from strategy through to execution. They choose us for our experience quality, our understanding of what moves and motivates people, and the depth of partnership we bring.

The opportunity

Great sales opportunities start with the right organisation, the right people and a reason to connect. As our Lead Generation Coordinator, you will bring those pieces together. Through focused research, accurate data and thoughtful digital outreach, you will help our sales team spend more time speaking to organisations that could genuinely benefit from what we do. The work follows a clear rhythm: research, qualify, record, reach out and follow up. Done brilliantly, your consistency turns names into qualified conversations and keeps our pipeline moving. Whether you want to master the role or build towards sales at Sponge, this is a chance to make a visible commercial impact.

Job Requirements

What success looks like

  • Sales colleagues trust you to keep the top of the pipeline moving.
  • Your target lists and contact data are relevant, accurate and ready to act on.
  • You sustain a steady rhythm of outreach and follow-up, even when results take time.
  • Qualified conversations reach the sales team with the right context.
  • Your CRM records and campaign insights show the team what is working.

What we are looking for

  • We welcome applicants from data entry, administration, marketing, customer service, research or sales support, as well as people starting their careers in sales. Please note, this is not a traditional sales role and there will be no cold calling.
  • You are likely to thrive here if you:
    • Enjoy a repeatable rhythm. You like becoming faster and better at a process by doing it consistently.
    • Take pride in detail. You enjoy researching, checking information and keeping accurate records.
    • Are naturally persistent. You keep activity moving and follow up without losing energy when replies take time.
    • Write clearly. You can adapt agreed messaging so it feels relevant and professional.
    • Are digitally confident. You are comfortable learning CRM, prospecting, AI and automation tools.
    • Are curious and coachable. You want to understand organisations, learn what works and improve through feedback.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
