Role Description
The Lead Generator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The role involves identifying and qualifying potential business clients through outbound calls, emails, networking, and online research. The Lead Generator will maintain accurate records of prospects in the CRM system, schedule meetings or calls for consultants, and follow up on inbound inquiries to convert interest into qualified opportunities. The position also includes collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging, support campaigns, and provide feedback on lead quality and target markets.

Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including confident phone manner and clear written communication.
- Proven experience in lead generation, telesales, or business development, ideally within B2B or professional services.
- Ability to conduct structured online research to identify potential clients and key decision-makers.
- Competence in using CRM or sales tracking tools and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations).
- Organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads, follow-ups, and scheduled appointments.
- Comfort working with targets and KPIs, with a results-oriented and proactive approach.
- Interest in the energy sector, sustainability, or consultancy services; prior industry experience is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment in Newcastle Upon Tyne, with a professional, inclusive attitude.
- Relevant education or training in sales, business, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory.
