Role Description
The Lead Generator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gateshead. The Lead Generator will identify and qualify potential customers interested in energy-saving solutions, primarily through outbound calls, in-person conversations, and follow-up on inquiries.

Daily tasks include:

- Gathering customer information
- Explaining the benefits of available services
- Scheduling appointments for energy consultants
- Maintaining accurate records in the CRM system
The role also involves:
- Meeting individual and team targets
- Collaborating with colleagues to refine outreach strategies
- Providing feedback on lead quality to improve overall performance
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and explain services clearly.
- Customer service and sales aptitude, including experience handling objections and converting interest into qualified leads.
- Basic knowledge or strong interest in energy efficiency, sustainability, or related services.
- Comfort using phones, email, and CRM or customer databases to manage and track leads.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple leads, follow-ups, and targets effectively.
- Ability to work on-site in Gateshead, collaborate within a team, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Previous experience in lead generation, telesales, or field sales is beneficial but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in sales or energy-related fields are an advantage.
