Role Description
The Lead Generator will identify and qualify prospective business clients for Eco Energy Consultants’ services through outbound calls, emails, social media outreach, and networking activities. This full-time, on-site role is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne and involves researching target markets, building contact lists, and initiating conversations with key decision-makers.

Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments and consultations for the sales and consultancy teams
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
- Follow up on inbound inquiries to move prospects through the pipeline
- Meet activity targets
- Nurture relationships
- Share relevant information about energy solutions
- Collaborate with colleagues to refine outreach strategies
- Monitor market trends
- Contribute feedback from prospects
- Support campaigns that promote Eco Energy Consultants’ services
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including confident phone manner and clear written communication.
- Proven experience in lead generation, telesales, or business development, ideally within B2B services or energy-related sectors.
- Ability to research and identify target businesses, use online tools and databases, and manage prospect lists effectively.
- Comfort using CRM systems and basic productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software).
- Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to meet activity and performance goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong listening and problem-solving abilities, with an interest in understanding business needs and energy-related challenges.
- Willingness to learn about energy procurement, contracts, and efficiency concepts; prior knowledge of the energy market is an advantage.
- Professional, inclusive approach to working with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred:
- Previous experience in a consultancy, utilities, or sustainability-focused organization
- High school diploma or equivalent required, further education in business or a related field is beneficial.
