Role Description
The Lead Generator at Day2Day Energy Consultants is a full-time, on-site role based in Gateshead. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying potential customers interested in energy consultancy services, using phone calls, email outreach, and in-person interactions where appropriate. Day-to-day tasks include researching target markets, building and maintaining lead lists, making outbound calls, responding to inbound inquiries, and scheduling appointments for the consultancy team. The Lead Generator will record accurate information in the CRM system, follow up on warm leads, and work closely with sales and consultants to ensure a smooth handover of qualified prospects. The role also involves meeting activity targets, providing feedback on lead quality, and representing the company’s values in all client communications.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills, including clear telephone manner, confident email writing, and active listening, with the ability to explain energy-related services in simple terms.
- Experience in lead generation, telesales, or customer outreach roles, preferably within consultancy, utilities, or related service industries.
- Basic IT and CRM skills, including maintaining accurate records of calls, contacts, and follow-up actions.
- Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple leads, prioritize follow-ups, and meet daily and weekly activity targets.
- Customer service mindset, with a professional, respectful approach and an interest in sustainable energy or environmental issues.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Gateshead as part of a team, with self-motivation to take initiative and meet performance goals.
- Previous experience in sales support, business development, or call center environments is beneficial.
- Relevant education or training in business, sales, or energy-related fields is an advantage, but candidates with strong practical experience are also encouraged to apply.
