Role: Lead Guidewire Consultant (Cloud Data Access - CDA)
Duration: 12 Months + Possible extension
Location: UK Based (Ideally 2 days per week onsite in London)
Rate: Inside IR35
Freelance / B2B Contract
Scope
A leading consultancy is seeking a Guidewire Lead Consultant with strong experience in Guidewire Cloud Data Access (CDA) to support a major insurance transformation programme.
This role requires a blend of Guidewire expertise, data architecture knowledge, and stakeholder management experience to help clients maximise value from Guidewire Cloud data platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of Guidewire Cloud Data Access solutions.
- Define data strategies and architectures for Guidewire Cloud implementations.
- Work with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to deliver reporting and insight solutions.
- Provide technical leadership around Guidewire data extraction, modelling, and integration.
- Support cloud migration and modernisation initiatives.
- Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure best practices around governance, security, and data quality.

Skills
Must have
- Significant experience working with Guidewire Cloud Data Access (CDA).
- Strong background in Guidewire Cloud implementations.
- Experience designing and delivering insurance data solutions.
- Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms and architectures.
- Strong stakeholder management and consultancy experience.
- Experience working within Agile delivery team

Nice to have
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Platform, or AWS data services.
- Guidewire Cloud certifications.
- Experience within the Insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of data governance, reporting, and analytics frameworks.
- Knowledge of Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter environments.
