About the Role
We are seeking motivated and experienced Band 4 Lead Health and Social Care Support Workers to join the Care at Home Service in Sutherland. These roles have been developed as part of service improvement and redesign following Care Inspectorate findings, to strengthen leadership, supervision, and oversight across the service.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support and supervision to Care at Home staff.
- Ensure safe, effective, and person-centred care is delivered.
- Play a key role in supporting staff in practice.
- Monitor quality of care.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the service.
- Work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Support coordination of care.
- Respond to changes in service demand.
- Help ensure that care delivery meets required standards.
Requirements
- Experience within a Health and Social Care setting.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Experience of supporting or supervising staff is desirable.
- Flexibility, proactivity, and ability to work effectively within a large and geographically dispersed rural service.
