Lead Implementation Consultant
Locations: London, Essex | Hybrid 6 days a month
The Opportunity
Implementation Lead is a newly created role with responsibility for the team delivering and implementing SS&C products in our clients’ operations. The role holder will play a key part in building out an implementation capability for the company and will be in charge of the end-to-end delivery and service transition of our solutions into a client UAT and production environment. You will collaborate with the product and technology teams to design and manage all technical aspects of implementation, including system configuration, integration architecture, conversion and migration of data from one system to another delivering a seamless transition for both end users and customers.
You will join specialists in the Sales team in workshops with clients, aimed at understanding their technology landscape and collaboratively designing an implementation plan – keeping scalability and repeatability of the approach front of mind.
What You Will Get To Do:
- Manage the Global Implementation team, shaping the process and making decisions to establish a high functioning, client facing implementation team.
- Design and implement a common implementation framework that can be applied to any product or workstream
- Own and manage end-to-end implementation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, meeting of budgetary demands, and maintenance of overall project ownership
- Design and maintain a repeatable conversion and migration strategy
- Manage and control system configuration of client UAT and production environments for both new and software upgrade implementations
- Work closely with our customers to manage client UAT and implementation programmes
- Work in conjunction with our project managers to develop and test implementation run books
- Facilitate end user training on our software products
- Provide go-live and post implementation support
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues and devise contingency plans, using appropriate techniques (e.g. Risk logs, Change requests)
- Provide regularly scheduled updates to internal and external stakeholders and hold weekly project update meetings throughout the implementation lifecycle
- Manage expectations for internal and external stakeholders to ensure satisfaction throughout the implementation process. decision-making
- Serve as the first level of escalations for all Project-related risks and issues

What You Will Bring:
- Experience managing software implementation projects in software/professional services company
- Experience in implementing new products while working closely with agile delivery teams and the client
- Experience implementing SaaS products preferred
- Experience implementing and migrating financial systems preferred (e.g. Transfer Agency Platforms, Fund Accounting Platforms)
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple requirements, deadlines, and projects
- Excellent communications skills in English (verbal and written)
- Experience using Microsoft Projects or other Project Management solutions is highly desirable
- Moderate travel required to client sites when necessary
- Deep Knowledge of Lean and Agile software development processes
