Lead Implementation Manager

Location: Manchester (Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £100,000 DOE + Bonus + Benefits

We are partnering with a growing technology business to recruit a Lead Implementation Manager to lead the delivery of complex software implementations for enterprise clients. This is a senior, client-facing role with responsibility for owning projects from initial kick-off through to go-live, adoption and handover. Working closely with customers, Product, Engineering and Business teams, you will act as the central point of accountability, ensuring successful delivery whilst building trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end software implementations across a portfolio of enterprise clients.
  • Manage deployment, testing, release, adoption and transition into support.
  • Build and manage delivery plans, governance processes, RAID logs and risk management activities.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and drive successful outcomes.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement from operational users through to executive and C-suite sponsors.
  • Deliver clear executive-level reporting, updates and recommendations.

About You

  • Proven experience owning complex end-to-end software implementations from requirements through to successful go-live and adoption.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product, Engineering and Delivery teams.
  • Strong project and programme management expertise, including governance, planning, risk and dependency management.
  • Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, data mapping and enterprise software delivery.
  • Ideally from a Financial Services, Asset Management, Wealth Management, FinTech or other regulated environment.
  • Comfortable operating in a senior client-facing environment and managing multiple stakeholders.
