About Amodal

Amodal is an information management specialist for the built environment. We work with asset owners, developers, tier one contractors and public sector programmes, including Laing O'Rourke, British Land, UCL, UKIFS and Balfour Beatty VINCI.

We are a certified B Corporation, accredited to ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001, and we develop endev-o, our own information assurance platform. Our consultants shape the product, and the product raises the standard of information management across the industry rather than only within Amodal.

A team of around fifteen, working fully remotely.

The Opportunity

Our client portfolio has grown ahead of our senior delivery capacity. We are appointing an experienced information manager to lead engagements from the point of award, reporting to our Associate Director (Managed Services).

We are deliberately open on grade. The role is scoped as Lead Information Manager, sitting above our Senior Project Information Managers. For a candidate who brings account ownership, commercial judgement and a track record of winning work, we will appoint at Associate Director.

The Role

You will most often act as Client Information Manager on behalf of an appointing party, typically an asset owner or developer. The role extends equally to appointed party work, alongside or embedded within contractor organisations, where the emphasis moves to producing BIM execution plans and delivery plans. You need to be credible on both sides of the appointment.

  • Leading the information management work on your engagements, whether for asset owners, developers or contractors, and acting as the client's day to day point of contact
  • Authoring exchange information requirements and the wider appointing party suite, including information standards and the methods and procedures beneath them
  • Producing BIM execution plans and delivery plans as an appointed party, and reviewing, challenging and approving them as an appointing party
  • Owning the configuration and governance of common data environments and EDMS platforms, and the document control processes that run inside them
  • Designing and delivering training that equips client and project teams to follow the process without us
  • Leading information management change inside client organisations, with the project management discipline to see it through
  • Producing information status and compliance reporting that gives clients a defensible picture of their information
  • Applying our tooling, including endev-o, in client delivery, and feeding experience back into the product
  • Peer reviewing the work of our Project Information Managers, and drafting technical content for bids

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What We Need to See

  • Significant information management experience on large, complex built environment projects, gained client side, contractor side or in consultancy
  • Practical command of best practice. You know what good looks like because you have implemented it on live projects, not because you have read the standard
  • Exchange information requirements you have authored yourself. We will ask you to talk through a set and the decisions behind it
  • BIM execution plans you have produced as an appointed party, and reviewed or returned as an appointing party
  • Direct ownership of a major CDE or EDMS: Asite, Aconex, BCDE, Viewpoint, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Dalux, Procore or ProjectWise
  • Excellent working knowledge of ISO 19650, with the judgement to adapt it to a client's maturity rather than impose it wholesale
  • Demonstrable ability to train and present: explaining documentation and process to a client team, designing the material and delivering it
  • Experience of delivering digital transformation or information management change
  • Comfort with technology, and the confidence to work alongside a software team on a product
