Lead Information Security Analyst - AI
Southampton – hybrid working
Up to £75,000 + Benefits
We’re looking for a Lead Information Security Analyst to take a key role in shaping information security across an established and growing business.
The company is investing heavily in AI and emerging technology, with a real focus on using innovation to improve how the business operates. This role will help ensure security keeps pace with that change, working closely with technology and business teams to assess risk, provide advice and build secure ways of working.
Please note, the role is hybrid working and requires attendance to the Southampton office 3 days per week.

The Role
- Lead information security activity across business and technology projects, with a particular focus on AI, emerging technology and security risk
- Act as a trusted security adviser, helping teams understand and manage security risks and requirements
- Develop and improve security processes, controls and governance while supporting the wider security strategy
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in information security, ideally across risk, governance, compliance and security projects
- Confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and able to translate security into practical business advice
- Experience with frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST or Cyber Essentials

Desirable
- Experience advising on AI, automation or emerging technologies
- CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA or ISO 27001 certification
- Experience within a regulated or complex technology environment
