Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to assume the role of Infrastructure Team Lead within the Shared Technology Services department. As an Infrastructure Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, encompassing both cloud-based and on-premises solutions, with a specific focus on Kubernetes environments. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership qualities, technical expertise, and the ability to drive the team towards operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and resource the infrastructure team to foster a high-performance culture and hit project targets.
- Architecture & Planning: Design scalable hybrid roadmaps and Kubernetes-centric system architectures aligned with business goals.
- Automation & CI/CD: Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation using Ansible and Terraform to streamline deployments.
- Operations & Reliability: Maintain performance, monitoring, and uptime across physical servers, networks, storage, and Kubernetes clusters; manage incident response and off-hours maintenance.
- Security & Compliance: Partner with InfoSec to enforce security controls, run risk assessments, and maintain audit readiness.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate third-party tools and manage technology partner relationships to ensure strict SLA compliance.

Requirements
- Operational Leadership & Governance: Proven experience leading infrastructure or operations teams, with a track record of establishing key operational metrics (e.g., MTTR/MTTD, uptime SLAs, cloud spend optimization, and incident response frameworks).
- Project & Workflow Management: Exceptional organizational, resource-allocation, and project management skills to lead complex technical initiatives from inception to delivery.
- Hybrid Infrastructure & Automation: Deep knowledge of on-premises hardware (physical servers, SAN/NAS storage, enterprise networking) combined with expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Cloud & OS Mastery: Hands-on experience architecting and administering multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) across both Linux and Windows operating systems.

- Kubernetes & Cloud: CKA, CKAD, CKS, or AWS/Azure/GCP Solutions Architect.
- Linux, Systems & Virtualization: RHCSA/RHCE, LPIC, VMware VCP-DCV, or legacy MCSA/MCSE.
- Networking & IT Management: CCNA/CCNP or ITIL Foundation/Practitioner.
