Lead Inspection Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit a Lead Inspection Engineer for our Inspection Department at one of our client offices in Aberdeen. As well as working within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation, the successful candidate will enjoy structured training and career development in the field of Inspection.

This role is a full-time position working, overtime may be required as part of the role.

Essential Skills

  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Knowledge & Experience of the application of the Pressure System Safety Regulations
  • Minimum 5 years in an Engineering role
  • At least two of the following: ASME L2, API 510 / 570 / 653 or EEMUA 159
  • Knowledge & application of NDT Techniques
  • Knowledge of applicable industry standards
  • Ability to obtain UKAS RG2 Cat 2

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in leading / supervising a team of inspectors
  • Experience of client interfacing role
  • Knowledge / experience of the inspection of Storage Tanks
