What’s your possible?

At Northrop Grumman UK, you are part of a team driving innovation where it matters most – solving tomorrow’s challenges and shaping the technology solutions of the future. It’s what we call Defining Possible.

This mindset goes beyond the systems and capabilities we deliver for our customers. It underpins how we develop our people, invest in their careers, and create an environment where everyone can make a meaningful impact.

The Opportunity

This is more than just a job. It’s a mission.

As a Lead Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making across national security and defence. Working within our Mission Systems Europe business, you will lead complex analytical workstreams, deliver high-quality intelligence assessments, and provide senior stakeholders with the insight they need to act with confidence.

You will operate at the intersection of intelligence, policy, and operations, spending the majority of your time embedded in customer-facing projects, often within secure environments. Alongside delivery, you will act as a role model and mentor, helping to shape and strengthen our intelligence capability as the threat landscape continues to evolve.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the production of high-quality intelligence assessments in complex and sensitive environments
  • Applying advanced structured analytic techniques and behavioural frameworks to ambiguous problem sets
  • Owning analytical workstreams and delivering clear, actionable intelligence outputs
  • Briefing senior stakeholders confidently, both in writing and face-to-face
  • Integrating perspectives from cross-functional teams to deepen analytical insight
  • Translating customer context and operational insights into clear, actionable requirements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
