Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Internal Comms and Engagement Partner to embed within our Marketing and Commercial function.
This is a high-impact role for someone who can build credibility quickly, influence senior stakeholders, and turn business priorities into clear, compelling communications that connect our people to our mission.
As part of the People Communications and Engagement team, you’ll be the trusted communications partner for Marketing and Commercial, working closely with leaders to shape how we communicate strategy, celebrate success, navigate change, and strengthen our culture. You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, leading communications and engagement activity that informs, inspires, and drives performance across McLaren Racing.

What You'll Do
- Partner with senior leaders across Marketing and Commercial to provide communications counsel, constructive challenge, and clear, trusted advice.
- Turn business priorities into engaging communications that help people understand strategy, connect with our mission, and perform at their best.
- Bring creativity to celebrate key moments and business priorities, using different formats.
- Lead communications and engagement activity that celebrates success, supports culture, and strengthens alignment across the function.
- Support major change programmes by creating clear, thoughtful, and impactful communications for a range of audiences.
- Plan and deliver high-quality communications at pace, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
What You'll Bring
- Strong experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or a closely related communications role.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to turn complex information into simple, engaging, and impactful communications.
- Confidence working with senior leaders and the judgement to communicate with clarity, authenticity, and impact.
- Experience operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly and expectations are high.
- Experience of change communications would be welcomed.
