Job Description
- Lead the full-stack development of the Encore platform, including the customer-facing web app, React Native mobile app, and Node.js backend services.
- Architect the technical expansion into the US market, building high-performance SEO landing pages and integrating payment solutions like Stripe for international users.
- Provide pastoral mentorship to another engineer while refining strategic technical projects, such as stack modernization and migrating legacy infrastructure to Railway and GCP.

The ideal candidate
- Lead-level experience in a production environment with deep proficiency across the TypeScript/JavaScript stack, specifically with React, Node.js, and Express.
- Proven ability to move fluidly between frontend product work and infrastructure/DevOps tasks using modern tools like Railway, Playwright, and cloud configurations.
- A product-first mindset with experience in two-sided marketplaces, capable of ruthlessly prioritizing technical tasks against commercial impact and identifying bottlenecks in the user journey.
