ABOUT GRAPHCORE

At Graphcore, we’re building the future of AI compute.

We’re a team of semiconductor, software and AI experts, with deep experience in creating the complete AI compute stack - from silicon and software to infrastructure at datacenter scale.

As part of the SoftBank Group, backed by significant long-term investment, we are delivering key technology into the fast-growing SoftBank AI ecosystem. To meet the vast and exciting AI opportunity, Graphcore is expanding its teams around the world. We are bringing together the brightest minds to solve the toughest problems, in a place where everyone has the opportunity to make an impact on the company, our products and the future of artificial intelligence.

About the job

Build the lab infrastructure that helps Graphcore engineers bring new silicon and systems to life.

As Engineering Lab Infrastructure Lead, you will lead the support function behind our Engineering Labs in Bristol. These labs are where new silicon, systems and platforms are tested, validated and scaled.

You will keep critical lab environments reliable, scalable and ready for engineering work. Your impact will be felt in the speed and quality of product development.

At first, this will be a hands-on role across Linux systems, lab infrastructure, automation and technical escalation. As the function grows, you will help build the team, standards and service model behind it.

This is a rare chance to shape how a complex engineering organisation builds, tests and scales technology.

The team and culture

You will work closely with silicon, hardware, systems and software engineering teams. Work happens through direct problem solving, clear ownership and practical decisions made close to the lab.

You will be trusted to act quickly, improve what is not working and set the standard for others. The role needs someone who can speak up, take responsibility and build credibility through delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
