Standard Job Description
Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment. Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks. Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers. Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support. Plans and contributes to proposal efforts.
About The Role
Lockheed Martin (UK) Ampthill are embarking on an exciting and growing range of long term national and international programmes and opportunities across the whole business; these all build upon and exploit the proven LMUK product designs and systems.
We need a suite of Engineers to underpin these developing business streams. These roles require high calibre and proven individuals with focused skills and experience in order to design, integrate and deliver real systems. The successful applicants will operate at the core of this expanding team driving technical direction and developing junior staff. These are challenging senior roles requiring talented individuals who will be correspondingly rewarded.

The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineering Lead will set both the philosophy and approach of the ILS Engineering aspects of the programme, and will be responsible for delivery of those aspects of the programme. They will have demonstrable experience of delivering and managing ILS components of Large Complex Systems Engineering programs and overseeing ILS activities within one or more areas relating to Radar Systems, Weapon Systems, Tactical Datalink, RF Data, Military Communications.

Required Skills, Qualifications And Experience
- Extensive experience within an ILS Environment with significant experience of leading ILS activities.
- Experience using EAGLE LSAR or similar.
- Experience of working with Technical Publications and Technical Authors.
- Experience of using Windchill.
- Experience of utilising both Reliability and Maintainability data is essential for this activity.
- Verification and validation of sub-contractor data deliverables will also be required.
