Envertiz Consultancy is recruiting a Lead Nurse on behalf of a well-established GP practice in Horsham.

Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Lead GP and Senior Nurse Manager to support and supervise the Nursing team
- Train, develop and mentor the Nursing team, ensuring competency and CQC compliance are well documented
- Support appraisals, revalidations and Personal Development Plans for the Nursing team
- Work with the Practice Management team to deliver on key KPIs (e.g. Childhood Immunisations, Cervical Screening, Flu Vaccinations, QOF)
- Ensure CQC compliance standards are met and support internal CQC inspections
- Act as a clinical leader and positive role model, maintaining professional standards in line with the NMC

Requirements
- First Level UK registered Nurse / Registered ANP with at least 2 years post-qualified experience as a general practice nurse
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Demonstrates sound evidence of academic links
- Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
- Experience in Primary Care Health settings and managing Nursing teams
- Understanding of the Lead Nurse role
- Effective management and organisational skills
- Clear thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
