Job Role: Lead Nurse

Service: Winsford

Hours Per Week: full time

Salary: £24.00 per hour

Location: Winsford

We Change Lives is a charity providing specialist care and support, and these positions will be based in Winsford, covering both Chapel House and Crook. The two services are only a few minutes apart and specialise in supporting people with Acquired Brain Injuries, mental health needs and other complex needs, supporting up to 16 people across the services. Our approach is person-centered, ensuring a high level of care tailored to our residents' needs.

We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses who has an active NMC PIN and is confident working within a complex care environment. Ideally, candidates will have previous experience supporting people with Acquired Brain Injuries, mental health needs and/or complex behaviours.

As Lead Nurse, you will need to be clinically confident but also strong leader who can support, guide and develop the wider team. We are particularly looking for people who can take ownership, make sound clinical decisions, maintain high standards of care and ensure the people we support remain at the centre of everything we do.

  • Providing clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing and support teams
  • Supporting the management of complex clinical needs and risk
  • Ensuring care plans, clinical documentation and risk assessments are accurate and up to date
  • Supporting medication management and safe clinical practice
  • Leading by example and maintaining high standards across the services
  • Supporting staff development, supervision and clinical competency
  • Working closely with the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager and wider multidisciplinary team
