Lead Operations Analyst
London (Hybrid, 3 days per week)
Up to £100,000
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of operational analytics within a large-scale, data-driven organisation. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, shape how operational performance is measured, and use insight to influence strategic decisions across multiple business functions.

The Role
You will act as a senior analytical partner to operational leaders, delivering insight that drives performance improvement, operational efficiency, and strategic decision making.
Responsibilities
- Leading operational analytics initiatives across customer service, onboarding, payments, or related business functions
- Developing and maintaining KPI frameworks, performance reporting, and operational scorecards
- Translating complex data into clear business recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Designing measurement frameworks to assess transformation and process improvement programmes
- Building trusted reporting and analytical solutions that support data-driven decision making
- Partnering with operational and business leaders to identify opportunities for optimisation and growth
- Driving best practice across analytics, reporting, governance, and data quality
- Supporting the adoption of automation and advanced analytical approaches across operations

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong commercial experience within operations analytics, business intelligence, or insight functions
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working in modern cloud data environments
- Strong understanding of KPI development, operational reporting, and performance measurement
- Experience translating analytical findings into actionable business recommendations
- Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders across both technical and non-technical teams
- Experience working with visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Understanding of experimentation, performance analysis, and analytical best practices
- Experience with Python, dbt, Airflow, or related technologies would be advantageous
