Role Overview

This new post will lead and deliver the clinical pharmacy service for the Enhanced Level A Paediatric Oncology Shared Care Unit (POSCU) services across Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust (RS) and Ashford St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH). These Trusts work in a collaborative group model.

The POSCU services operate as part of the North and South Thames Operational Delivery Networks (ODNs), with the Royal Marsden, University College London and Great Ormond Street as Principal Treatment Centres (PTCs).

The successful applicant will join an experienced team of specialist pharmacy staff at Royal Surrey Cancer Centre who provide a comprehensive service to oncology, haemato-oncology and surgical oncology patients.

The post will be primarily based at RS, with ad hoc requirements to attend on-site at ASPH.

Responsibilities

To lead, provide and develop the clinical pharmacy service for the Enhanced Level A Paediatric Oncology Shared Care Unit (POSCU) service across Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust (RS) and Ashford St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust (ASPH). The service will be supporting the South Thames Children’s Cancer Principal Treatment Centre (PTC).

Requirements

This post requires a postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification and specialist experience in paediatric oncology. We would endeavour to support any relevant personal/career development training when in post.
