DWF is experiencing an exciting period of growth, and we’re looking for skilled legal and experienced Paralegals professionals to join our Major Injury & Casualty team in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

These roles are hybrid and can be based from either of our Glasgow or Edinburgh offices, 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for assisting fee earners of all levels on files and supporting our qualified individuals on a diverse caseload for insurers pre-litigated and litigated claims, from inception to resolution.

Duties will include conducting thorough investigations, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses. A key part of the role will also involve conducting research to support legal strategies and case development.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- Previous Paralegal experience of at least 6 months is ESSENTIAL for this role.
- Scottish qualified legal professional with previous Scotland law experience is ESSENTIAL for this role.
- We are unable to consider candidates with UK & Wales experience only for this role.
- Experience in the following areas will be considered - Fraud, Motor, Road Traffic Accidents (RTA), Personal Injury, Serious Injury, Large Loss, Complex Loss, Catastrophic Loss, Employer's Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), Occupiers Liability (OL), Credit Fraud, Recoveries, Abuse, Disease, etc.
- Experience in litigation would be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a volume of claims.
