We're looking for an experienced and strategic Lead People Business Partner to play a pivotal role in driving organisational performance, cultural transformation, and workforce excellence across our business.
About the Role
As Lead People Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, leading strategic people initiatives across workforce planning, organisational design, talent management, employee relations, industrial relations, and business transformation. You'll oversee complex change programmes, including restructures, TUPE transfers, acquisitions, mobilisations, and organisational redesign.

What You'll Be Doing
- Partnering with Executive and Senior Leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.
- Leading workforce planning, succession planning, organisational design, and capability development initiatives.
- Driving organisational change programmes, restructures, and transformation projects.
- Leading Industrial Relations strategy and building positive relationships with recognised Trade Unions.
- Managing collective consultations, negotiations, and complex employee relations matters.
- Leading the people elements of TUPE transfers, acquisitions, mergers, business integrations, and contract mobilisations.
- Coaching and developing People Business Partners and HR professionals.
- Using workforce data and insights to influence strategic decision-making and improve organisational effectiveness.

What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in a Senior HR Business Partner, Lead People Business Partner, or similar HR leadership role.
- Strong experience leading Industrial Relations activity and working within unionised environments.
- Expert knowledge of UK employment law, collective consultation, TUPE, and organisational change.
- Proven success delivering restructures, workforce transitions, mergers, acquisitions, and transformation programmes.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Experience leading and developing HR teams and business partnering functions.
- CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent professional experience.
