As the democratically elected House of the UK Parliament, the House of Commons is responsible for making laws and scrutinising the work of Government, working alongside the House of Lords. From shaping the future to making history, extraordinary things happen here.

Lead People Partners are part of the People Management team within People and Culture. The team supports named business areas with a range of pragmatic HR solutions at both a strategic and tactical level.
This is an important time to join the People Management team, with a period of significant organisational change taking place across the House. Lead People Partners will play a key role in supporting business areas and colleagues through this change, while delivering a high-quality People Management service that enables business areas to achieve their people outcomes in support of the House Strategy, People Strategy and I&D Strategy.

What we're looking for
If you have a keen interest in providing pragmatic HR solutions to senior leaders on complex business needs, including supporting teams through organisational change, and experience across the full range of HR subject areas, including casework and employee relations (TUS), this could be an ideal role for you.

As the House continues to work through a significant programme of organisational change, a key focus for Lead People Partners will be partnering with senior leaders through the full lifecycle of change, from organisational design and restructuring through to implementation and embedding new ways of working, ensuring change is approached thoughtfully and with due consideration for its impact on colleagues. Alongside this, the People Management teams support directors and managers with strategic HR advice and problem-solving, employee casework, workforce planning and development activities.
You should hold an HR professional qualification (minimum CIPD Level 7), a relevant degree or have equivalent experience.
