Lead Performance Analyst

Location: Hybrid Telford
Clearance Required: Active SC Clearance
Inside IR35: £414.00 pd

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Lead Performance Analyst to support a high-profile digital transformation programme, working across multiple critical service areas. This role is focused on helping teams understand service performance, define meaningful measures of success, and use data-driven insights to improve outcomes. You'll work closely with product, delivery, and technical teams to develop performance frameworks, establish KPIs, and ensure that data and analysis support effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead performance analysis activities across multiple projects and workstreams.
  • Develop and maintain performance measurement frameworks, including KPIs, outcomes, benefits, and user-focused metrics.
  • Help teams define what success looks like and how it should be measured.
  • Analyse service and product performance, identifying trends, insights, and improvement opportunities.
  • Gather reporting requirements and advise on the implementation and validation of performance measurement tools.
  • Ensure the accuracy, quality, and integrity of performance data and reporting.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Support project planning and help ensure successful delivery against agreed objectives.
  • Share best practice and collaborate with wider analytical communities.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Performance Analyst or Lead Performance Analyst.
  • Strong experience developing and implementing performance measurement frameworks.
  • Expertise in defining and tracking KPIs, outcomes, benefits, and service performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary delivery teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience ensuring data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while providing analytical leadership across projects.

What We're Looking For

You'll be a proactive and highly analytical professional who enjoys using data to influence decisions and drive service improvement. Comfortable working autonomously, you'll be able to adapt your analytical approach to different challenges while ensuring stakeholders have the insights they need to make informed decisions.
