Lead Performance Marketing Manager (12-month FTC)

Reporting Line: Head of Marketing

As Lead Performance Marketing Manager, you will oversee SimplyCook’s performance-driven customer acquisition channels, including Inspire channels (paid social, Google) and Incentive channels (affiliates and partnerships). Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will translate acquisition strategy into high-performing campaigns, ensuring channels deliver sustainable growth and high-quality customers.

This role is ideal for a strategic, analytical, and commercially-minded marketer ready to step into a broader leadership position, guiding teams, shaping channel strategy, and overseeing high-impact acquisition initiatives.

Your Mission

Channel Growth & Oversight

  • Oversee and manage SimplyCook’s full suite of acquisition channels, including:
    • Inspire channels – paid social (Meta, TikTok), Google, and other performance-driven channels designed to inspire new customers.
    • Incentive channels – affiliate and partnership programmes that drive acquisition through value-driven collaborations.
    • Organic channels - SEO and referral.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the Performance Marketing Manager and Performance Executive, ensuring channels deliver against growth targets, CPA, and customer quality targets.
  • Set the direction for each channel, aligning campaigns with SimplyCook’s broader acquisition strategy and long-term business objectives.
  • Support the team in testing new initiatives, optimising channel mix, and scaling high-performing activity.
  • Monitor and review channel performance at a high level, providing insights, recommendations, and prioritisation to the Head of Marketing.

Experimentation & Conversion Optimisation

  • Oversee structured testing across creatives, messaging, incentives, and user journeys, ensuring learnings are applied to improve acquisition performance.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and analytics teams to develop and implement experiments.
  • Review insights from tests and performance reports to refine channel strategies and maximise impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
