Lead Planner | Heathrow Airport – Baggage Systems | Permanent | £80,000-£100,000
Are you an experienced Lead Planner looking to work on complex, high-profile projects at one of the world’s busiest airports?
We’re recruiting for a Lead Planner to join our client, supporting the delivery of baggage systems projects at Heathrow Airport.
This is a permanent opportunity offering a salary of up to £100,000, with a hybrid working pattern of approximately 3 days per week at Heathrow / Bath Road.
You’ll play a key role in the planning and successful delivery of complex projects, working closely with project managers, engineering teams, and key stakeholders to ensure programmes are robust, achievable, and effectively managed.

- Developing, managing, and maintaining detailed project programmes
- Monitoring progress against key milestones and identifying potential delays
- Working closely with project and engineering teams to understand programme requirements
- Challenging programme assumptions and driving realistic delivery plans
- Identifying schedule risks, dependencies, and critical path activities
- Providing clear programme reporting and insight to senior stakeholders
- Supporting project teams with planning, forecasting, and programme controls
- Working within a complex, operational airport environment
What we’re looking for:
- You’ll be an established Senior Planner with experience delivering complex engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects.
- Experience within airports, baggage handling systems, automation, engineering, or similarly complex operational environments would be particularly valuable.
- You’ll need to be confident working with multiple stakeholders, NEC contracts, challenging project teams when required, and taking ownership of the planning process.
