Location: UK – Fully Remote

Salary: Up to £120,000 + Benefits Package

Travel: 2–3 Days Per Month Across Europe

Sector: Hyperscale Data Centre Construction

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Lead Planner to join a growing specialist contractor delivering major hyperscale data centre projects across Europe.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an ambitious planning professional to build, develop and lead a European planning team, taking ownership of project planning, programme management and scheduling across multiple high-value developments.

The position offers genuine autonomy, the opportunity to shape a planning function from the ground up, and the chance to play a pivotal role in delivering some of Europe's most complex mission-critical construction projects.

The role is fully remote from anywhere in the UK, with occasional European travel of approximately 2–3 days per month.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, recruit, mentor and lead a high-performing team of planners supporting multiple European data centre projects.
  • Establish and implement planning procedures, reporting standards and best practices across the business.
  • Oversee the development and management of detailed project programmes, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones and delivery objectives.
  • Provide strategic planning oversight across multiple hyperscale data centre developments.
  • Work closely with Project Directors, Construction Managers and senior leadership to identify programme risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Lead programme reviews, critical path analysis, progress reporting and recovery planning.
  • Ensure effective integration of CSA, MEP, commissioning and handover activities into project schedules.
  • Support tendering, preconstruction and project mobilisation activities.
  • Develop planning capabilities and resources in line with the company's European growth strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
