We are supporting a boutique construction consultancy working with specialist developers and infrastructure clients across a portfolio of large-scale, complex and multi-phase projects in the UK.

This is a senior, autonomous planning role with responsibility for developing and shaping programme strategy across complex infrastructure and large-scale development projects. You will work closely with the client and wider project teams, providing clear programme advice, challenging contractor programmes and helping determine the most effective approach to sequencing, phasing and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of programmes across large-scale, multi-phase infrastructure and development projects
  • Develop programme strategies covering infrastructure, utilities, highways, drainage, earthworks and other enabling works
  • Integrate design, infrastructure, procurement and contractor programmes into a clear overall delivery strategy
  • Review, challenge and interrogate contractor programmes as they come on board
  • Analyse dependencies, constraints, resources and phasing to identify the most effective delivery approach
  • Advise the client on programme risks, sequencing, mitigation and recovery options
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders and project teams to align programme strategy with wider project objectives
  • Provide clear, commercially minded programme advice and challenge where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
